Why to support Zábradlí?

Every our partner has own reasons why to support the Theatre Na zábradlí, you can read about them here. We feel that the word of our partners speak for themselves. Nevertheless, we have put down here, why you could also support the theatre:

Theatre Na zábradlí has belonged since its foundation in 1958 among the top Czech theatres. It is a dramaturgically experimental theatre. Most of its visitors are young people, however, it has patrons of all generations. The Theatre Na zábradlí has become three times the Theatre of the Year and four its productions have won the title Production of the Year.

What way can you help us?

The Theatre Na zábradlí is a subsidiary organisation of the Capital City of Prague. Subsidy that the theatre receives is determined for everyday running of the theatre and the maintenance of its building and for employees’ wages. Any further costs including expenses connected with the creating of productions are covered from the theatre’s revenue and in particular from the donations of our partners.

Donor us what we need - you can choose cheaper or more expensive things
Hire of theatre’s premises for meetings (without performance)
Buy a performance - we will play only for you and your guests

What do we offer?

We do not want our partners to be “mere” donators, who can have their tax base reduced and will see their logo on all theatre’s promotional material. We want to offer more. The Theatre Na zábradlí does not consist only of the building and its long tradition, but it consists of the people working there. And in the same way we perceive our partners. From that we start and to that we adhere. We endeavour to boost our partners’ success among others by the fact that their employees will be proud that their company supports the Theatre Na zábradlí. To achieve that we not only offer our partners free tickets to the theatre, but also provide them with various special events, such as backstage tours of the theatre incl. an interactive tour for children, during which children can experience the creation of a performance, can take roles of actors, light designers, technicians and other theatre professions. With appropriate make-up and attire they then perform a short performance to their parents, your employees and guests.

We strive to achieve a moment when at the end of a year our partner can say: “The Theatre Na zábradlí was one of our best investment we could have made.“
