Michal Bednář

Member of Divadlo Na zábradlí ensemble since 2022.

Born in Hradec Králové. He studied acting at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre of the Academy of Performing Arts and history at the Faculty of Philosophy of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University. He is a founding member of the Prague theatre company 11:55. As an actor, he is mainly active in original productions, but he has also been a guest actor at various Prague venues such as the National Theatre, Letí Theatre, Městská divadla pražská, A studio Rubín, Minor Theatre, etc. He took part in the audiovisual project Tamura (Alfréd ve Dvoře) and in the production of the 11:55 film entitled Husitský film (Hussite Film). He also works as a pedagogue at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre.
