A small sitting room filled to the brim with paintings and guests quickly becomes a suffocating stage for a dinner of artists awaiting the arrival of a National Theatre actor. A fancy party setting transforms into a deep, ironic and sardonic probe into the lives of high society. Meticulous directorial lead, precise ensemble acting, and imaginative scenography turn audience’s emotions from laughter to crying, from humour and exaggeration to a hopeless message about the state of our own selves.
